Melon Kinenbi’s New Album Announced, “Melon’s Not Dead”
A new album has been announced for Melon Kinenbi titled Melon’s Not Dead. The title is cut short to MELON’S NOT DE on the item page but the “DE” most likely means “Dead”.
It’s great to finally get news about the girls after their 5 singles, and it looks like this album will be available to everyone so hopefully the sales are great.
The tracklist hasn’t been confirmed but we will most likely see all of their 5 collaboration singles at least, although they might include new songs as well although we will have to wait for more information to find out.
Hopefully they promote this album well and we get a confirmation soon about what the full title for the album is.
The release date is set for 2/17.
C-ute Concert Tour 2010 Spring ~SHOCKING Live~ Announced
The title for C-ute’s 2010 Spring Concert has been announced to be C-ute’s Concert Tour 2010 Spring ~SHOCKING Live~. Like Morning Musume’s 2010 Spring Tour this tour has already been announced but it’s now confirmed.
The name isn’t surprising at all since it was kind of obvious they would name the tour after their latest single, but at least the title sounds somewhat clever (only somewhat).
The songs they will perform are not known yet but I can guarantee that SHOCK! is in the setlist along with c/w Ikiyouze!, so at least AIri fans have an entire song to look forward to along with the slightly more equal c/w for the rest of the members/fans.
Hopefully the concert is SHOCKINGLY good and we have enough great songs on the set list.

Morning Musume Spring Concert Tour 2010 ~Pikappika!~ Announced
A concert tour for Morning Musume titled Spring Concert Tour 2010 ~Pikappika!~ has been announced. The tour was actually announced a month ago but the concert dates and the title have been updated.
The name sounds great although I have no idea if it is a reference to Pikachu or it’s just a cute name UFA thought of.
It’s great to see that the concert tour will last from March to May since it gives the girls enough time to promote the new single Onna ga Medaitte Naze Ikenai and perform it in concert for the fans.
I will update if more dates are added.

Mano Erina Single V Clips 1 Announced
Mano Erina’s first PV collection titled Mano Erina Single V Clips 1 has been announced.
It was kind of expected that we would get a Mano Erina PV collection soon since she already has released everything else (5 major singles, 3 indie singles and an album).
The setlist will probably contain all of her major single’s PV’s including the one for Haru no Arashi, her 6th single, since the release date is about a week after the single, which means that we could possibly not see a Single V release for that single.
The one thing that is somewhat in the dark is if they will include her indie single PV’s, but we will most likely find out soon.
The release date is set for 3/3.
Berryz Koubou 22nd Single Announced, “Tomodachi wa Tomodachi Nanda! / Otakebi Boy WAO!”
Berryz Koubou’s 22nd single titled Tomodachi wa Tomodachi Nanda! / Otakebi Boy WAO! has been announced. The single will be a double A-side and available in 4 versions: Regular, A, B, and C, also a Single V was also announced for Otakebi Boy WAO!
It was somewhat unexpected that the single will once again be a double a-side, although not surprising since they are already the only group to do release double a-sides.
The titles are somewhat strange this time around since Otakebi Boy WAO! literally means “War Cry Boy WAO!” or “Roar Boy WAO!” which suggests an upbeat or active song while Tomodachi wa Tomodachi Nanda! on the other hand means something along the lines of “A friend is a friend” which might mean it will be a ballad.
One thing that wasn’t surprising is that it was expected that they would go to Bangkok with a new single, so I’m glad that they get another double a-side plus enough time to promote it in Japan before going on their trip.
Hopefully the songs once again are used for the anime Inazuma Eleven since it would mean extra promotion and a chance to hear one song a little bit early.
The release date for the single is set for 3/3 and the Single V for 3/10.

Mano Erina Stage Play “Koisuru Hello Kitty” DVD Announced
A DVD has been announced for Mano Erina’s stage play Koisuru Hello Kitty on the E-hon page.
I’m glad that we are finally getting the news about the DVD since that means that fans of Mano and Hello Kitty alike can look forward to a great play.
As for the DVD I’m somewhat excited to see it since S/mileage are also included as well, so hopefully we get a preview in a few months.
The release date is set for 2/17.
